Don't restart the fiber ONT — call Frontier instead
If your Frontier fiber ONT has an alarm light, do NOT press the reset button on the ONT. Resetting it can disrupt the fiber optic configuration. Call 1-800-921-8101 instead — Frontier can remotely reset and re-provision the ONT without a truck roll in many cases.

Restart your Frontier router separately from the ONT
If the ONT is fine (solid green lights) but your internet isn't working, unplug just the Frontier router from the wall for 60 seconds, then plug back in. The router can lose its DHCP lease without the ONT being affected.

Check if Frontier Fiber is available at your address
Visit frontier.com and enter your address to check fiber availability. If fiber is available, the upgrade from DSL to fiber is usually free to install and offers dramatically better speeds. Many Frontier DSL markets are getting fiber within 1-3 years.

No — Frontier Fiber internet plans have no data caps. You can use as much data as needed without throttling or overage charges. Frontier DSL plans also have no data caps.
